Why are drumsticks made of hornbeam wood?
A "hornbeam drumstick" refers to a drumstick made from hornbeam wood. Hornbeam is a hardwood native to Europe and Asia and is often used in woodworking and craft projects. When making drumsticks, the wood is carefully selected to achieve the right sound on the drum.
Hornbeam drumsticks are generally lightweight and durable, and drummers choose them based on their preferences and desired sound. Hornbeam drumsticks generally provide a balanced sound and good vibrational properties, which are important when playing drums. Drumstick heads can be of different sizes and hardnesses.
Our drumsticks are made from selected, naturally dried wood. Similar to hickory drumsticks, they are paired in pairs - with a 2g difference.
